The 278-seat, dinner-only restaurant Canvas is led by Chef Bryan Thoman and will serve American cuisine influenced by Florida’s southern and Latin American roots, according to Tavistock Restaurant Collection. Featured menu items include starters such as house-smoked fish dip, mussels tomatillo and braised short ribs. Meanwhile, entrée options include wood-oven roasted mojo chicken, pan-roasted snapper and chimichurri hanger steak. The menu also will include flatbreads from the restaurant’s wood oven.

Canvas’s main dining room will open at 5 p.m., while its bar will open a bit earlier at 3 p.m. and feature craft cocktails, local beers and a a few menu items.
Meanwhile, the Canvas market, which is adjacent the restaurant, will open daily from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. for breakfast and lunch with freshly prepared breakfast and lunch items from the Canvas kitchen as well as a selection of housewares, books and local goods.
