The Orlando VAMC is moving its Lake Nona Annex to the new Lake Nona Hospital and Clinic Campus Feb. 24, marking the first offering of primary care services to Central Florida’s Veterans on the new campus. The Lake Nona Annex, located at northeast corner of Narcoossee and Moss Park Road, serves more than 900 Veterans annually. The projected move will place a like number of Veteran patients at the new Hospital and Clinic campus in the clinical section of the new facility. Construction on the new Orlando VA Medical Center, which began in 2008, is nearing completion and the VA has begun a commissioning process to assure that the physical plant equipment installation is properly completed. This phase is expected to run approximately 120 days.
