The Lake Nona area will soon get a new $25 million grocery-anchored shopping center featuring a much-requested car wash — and a dessert shop, too.
The project will include about 70,000-75,000 square feet of inline retail space with the remaining space split up into five outparcels.
New shopping centers offer more selection for existing businesspeople and residents — including those living in the thousands of new homes built in Randal Park — while also adding to area amenities, which can help attract more people to the area.
Additionally, the Lake Nona area is one of Central Florida’s fastest-growing submarkets. Lake Nona now boasts more than 5,000 jobs in its Medical City life sciences hub, along with more than 11,000 residents in its 17-square-mile community. And surrounding communities are benefitting from that growth as well.
