Tavistock Inks Major Corporate Campus at Infinity Park with Orange Lake Resorts
Tavistock Development Company, a diversified real estate firm owned by Tavistock Group, announced today the signing of a built-to-suit lease at Infinity Park with Orange Lake Resorts, home to the Holiday Inn Club Vacations® brand, that will result in the creation of a new corporate campus that will house approximately 2,100 employees within two buildings totaling 240,000 SF. This lease appears to be the largest office lease transaction in Orange County in 2017.
“We are delighted for Orange Lake Resorts to expand their campus at Infinity Park,” said Skipper Peek, Senior Vice President of Tavistock Development Company. “The Orange Lake Resorts campus is great validation of Infinity Park’s strategic location and another major corporate win for the region.”
Orange Lake Resorts will expand its current presence at Infinity Park with an existing 115,000 SF building and the creation of a new 125,000 SF building for a total campus footprint encompassing 240,000 SF. The location will create a centralized gathering space between the two buildings at the company’s new corporate campus. Construction of the new 125,000 SF building is scheduled to break ground this fall and open in the fourth quarter of 2018. The project architect is Hunton Brady. Jeff York of York Properties represented Orange Lake Resorts in the lease transaction.
“We are proud to be a Central Florida home-grown company with a 35-year history in the area,’’ said Don Harrill, CEO of Orange Lake Resorts. “We are excited to consolidate all of our corporate functions into one central location with great access to transit, the airport and roads. Our team has worked hard to make us one of the fastest-growing private businesses in our industry and this new campus will enable us to continue our 10 years of record growth.”
“Our goal is to continually grow this company and do what we need to provide our team members with the best possible work environment for them to succeed,” commented Tom Nelson, President and incoming CEO of Orange Lake Resorts. “These modern facilities are purpose-built for them and set the tone for how we grow. As we continue to seek out new resorts and destinations for our club members and owners, our demand for new recruits is increasing rapidly. This corporate campus will accommodate our projected growth for the foreseeable future.”
Infinity Park is a 200-acre, mixed-use, business park, offering a variety of built-to-suit commercial space opportunities. The corporate park is strategically located within Central Florida along John Young Parkway and less than 1/3 mile from SR 528. Infinity Park is located adjacent to top employers including Lockheed Martin, Darden Restaurants, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Starwood and Wyndham Vacation Ownership.
In addition to Infinity Park, Orlando-based Tavistock Development Company’s real estate portfolio includes the large-scale, master-designed Lake Nona community in southeast Orlando. Tavistock’s corporate pipeline includes major regional projects including KPMG’s $400-million training and innovation center and the newly announced Amazon high-tech fulfillment center, both of which continue to position Lake Nona as one of the fastest-growing communities in America and a significant job creator for both the region and the state.
