Raising Cane’s Lake Nona Update:

Plans have been filed with the city of Orlando to bring Raising Cane’s to the Lake Nona area.

An application was submitted for a master plan for a new location for the restaurant chain at 12049 Pioneers Way, according to city records.

It is just east of Narcoossee Road, about a half-mile south of the S.R. 417 interchange, adjacent the 354-unit Cortland Nona apartments at 12035 Pioneers Way.

Raising Cane’s Chicken chain is in serious talks to open a future location in the Lake Nona Area.

The chicken chain is considering a location near Lake Nona at Narcoossee Road and Vickrey Place.

Raising Cane’s — which offers a limited menu of chicken fingers, fries, Texas toast, coleslaw and drinks — has roughly 500 restaurants nationwide that each average $3.6 million annually in revenue. That figure is considered on the high end for fast-food restaurants, showing the strength and popularity of the concept.
