Lake Nona Social is partnering with iLingo Academy to create more opportunities for Lake Nona residents to learn, connect and experience something new together.

The partnership brings together two locally focused organizations with a shared goal: strengthening community through meaningful experiences. Through Lake Nona Social’s community reach and iLingo Academy’s approach to education, creativity and connection, the collaboration will help introduce more families and adults to programs designed to bring people together.

A major part of that partnership will be supporting the growth of iLingo Connect, a new initiative created to extend the iLingo experience beyond traditional youth education and into the wider Lake Nona community.

Through iLingo Connect, residents can expect a growing lineup of experiences for adults, including entrepreneurial workshops, creative nights, book clubs, STEAM activities, social gatherings and even experiences such as an adult field day.

The idea is simple: learning does not have to stop when school ends.

Whether someone wants to develop a new skill, explore a creative interest, meet other local residents or simply try something different, iLingo Connect is being designed as a place where adults can continue learning while building genuine relationships within the community.

That vision grows naturally from what iLingo Academy has already been doing with children for more than five years.

As a locally owned school, iLingo Academy focuses on much more than teaching students another language. Its programs are designed to help children develop communication skills, confidence, curiosity and an understanding of the world around them.

Students learn through reading, writing, conversation, hands-on activities and immersive experiences that make education feel active rather than routine.

On any given day, a student might be learning about the human body using real X-rays, exploring another culture through language and food, or building a working robot using everyday materials such as scrub brushes, markers and pipe cleaners.

That blend of structure, imagination and hands-on learning is at the heart of the iLingo experience.

There is also something powerful about watching a child discover their own voice.

It may happen when they read their first sentence aloud, confidently share an idea with classmates or realize they can communicate with someone who speaks a different language. Those small moments can become major milestones in a child’s confidence and development.

At iLingo Academy, language becomes the starting point for something bigger: communication, curiosity and connection.

Now, through the partnership with Lake Nona Social and the expansion of iLingo Connect, that same philosophy is reaching beyond the classroom.

The goal is to create a space where children, parents, professionals, entrepreneurs and neighbors can discover new interests, share their talents and connect with people they may not otherwise meet.

For Lake Nona Social, the partnership is another way to support local organizations while creating experiences that bring the community together. For iLingo Academy, it represents an opportunity to introduce its approach to learning to an even wider audience.

Together, Lake Nona Social, iLingo Academy and iLingo Connect are working toward a larger vision: creating more opportunities for people of all ages to learn from one another and build stronger connections close to home.
