The sport of Cricket is expanding by creating a U.S cricket league. Orlando has been identified by Global Sports Ventures for a potential home team for the new league.

Lake Nona is on the list of potential sites as well as Downtown Orlando and Orlando tourist district.

The sports district of Lake Nona with plenty undeveloped land would be an appealing location for Global Sports Ventures. Tavistock has already been able to attract professional sports associations to its developing sports district. Including the likes of the United States Tennis Association (USTA) and Orlando City Soccer Club training facility.
