Construction is slated to kick into high gear in Lake Nona’s Medical City this year.Winter Park-based general contractor Walker & Co. Inc. was selected by Lake Nona Land Co. LLC to build the 7,000-acre, master-planned community’s first “urban” apartment complex in Medical City. Groundbreaking is slated for this fall on the 300-unit complex, which will be built across from the estimated $50 million Lake Nona Town Center commercial development now in the works by DPR Construction….
