There’s a new Publix Super Market-anchored shopping center that is in the works near Lake Nona. The center would be located near the Storey Park Neighborhood off of Dowden Road.

The proposed center, named Publix at Storey Park — seeks municipal planning board approval on January 19, according to the city of Orlando. It will be located on about 9.3 acres south of Dowden Rd. and east of State Road 417. Municipal planning board approval is one of several needed before starting construction.
