Florida Hospital Centra Care is joining one of the state’s most esteemed healthcare hubs with the opening of its 36th urgent care location in Lake Nona. As one of several new Centra Care locations opening this year, the 5,000 sq. ft. the stand-alone center is expected to open its doors in late August.

“Lake Nona is home to several medical campuses, and we’re excited to provide urgent care access to its residents and commuters,” says Centra Care President & CEO Scott Brady, MD. “As Florida’s original urgent care, we’ve been able to serve individuals and communities by providing fast and convenient care for urgent, non-emergency medical needs for more than three decades.”

Over the past five years, Centra Care has expanded beyond the central Florida market by opening locations in Flagler, Volusia, and Hillsborough counties. And with the ever-changing healthcare landscape, the hospital-affiliated urgent care provider has evolved through the years to meet the needs of its patients. “From Online Reservations to after-hours vaccination & physicals – we’ve extended our suite of urgent care services to further bridge the gap between primary and emergency room medical care,” says Brady.

Centra Care’s newest center will be located at 9637 Lake Nona Village Place and will be available to families seven days a week. Lake Nona Centra Care will operate weekdays from 8AM-8PM and weekends from 8AM-5PM.
