The Story of Curious Cork

Curious Cork’s story began with a serendipitous journey in 2014. While on vacation in the Czech Republic with their families, Bob Flynn and Octavio Careaga met and bonded over their shared love for the New England Patriots. What might have been a fleeting encounter turned into a lasting friendship that spanned continents and years.

As their families grew closer, Flynn and Careaga discovered a mutual passion for travel, culinary adventures, and, most importantly, the nuanced world of wines. Their travels took them to places where they could explore both Old World and New World wines, sparking an idea that eventually grew into a tangible venture.

Their shared experiences and deepening friendship laid the foundation for Curious Cork Wine & Provisions. Located in the vibrant Lake Nona area, Curious Cork quickly evolved from a dream to a beloved reality, bringing an exceptional wine and beer experience to the community.
