As Thanksgiving winds down, the holiday cheer shifts to Christmas, that means lots of decorations and lights.
Local homeowner Todd O’Neal said it takes him an entire year to plan and put together his spectacular display in the Lake Nona area.
His holiday light show is located at 9800 Old Patina Way in Orlando. His display started small just four years ago, but now there are 20,000 to 25,000 lights synchronized to music you can hear on your car radio.
O’Neal and his co-worker Randy Tennison help make the light show come alive.
The controllers, extension cords and computer programs aren’t cheap. There are about 100 extension cords that are used in the display.
Surprisingly, the cost of the electric bill is not what you’d expect. Either way, they just want to help spread holiday cheer.
