Chick-fil-A, Inc. has selected Holly Rivera as the franchise owner of the newest Chick-fil-A restaurant in the Orlando area. Chick-fil-A Nona, located across from Lake Nona High School, is slated to open for business on Thursday, August 20.

Rivera will oversee day-to-day activities of the business, employing approximately 120 full- and part-time Team Members, cultivating relationships with local organizations and neighboring businesses and serving Guests. Chick-fil-A Nona is located at 12801 Narcoossee Road and will be open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

At Chick-fil-A, safe service is our first priority. As states begin to ease restrictions on the closure of local businesses, Chick-fil-A restaurants are taking additional time to review operations and ensure there are the necessary precautions in place to protect our Guests and Team Members before reopening dining rooms. In the meantime, Chick-fil-A Nona will open as drive-thru only, with curbside pickup available as well. Guests can take advantage of contactless ordering and payment through our mobile app.

Additionally, in place of the traditional Chick-fil-A First 100 Grand Opening celebration, Chick-fil-A Nona will be providing free Chick-fil-A meals for a year to 100 deserving teachers making an impact at schools in the community. The Chick-fil-A Foundation has partnered with Feeding America to donate $25,000 to support local communities for every new restaurant opening. To aid in the fight against hunger, this donation will go towards organizations in the Orlando area that are doing good work to care for others.

Locally Owned and Operated

A native of Oviedo, Florida, Holly Rivera is an experienced business owner with a demonstrated passion for serving others. Through her own journey with Chick-fil-A, Rivera has seen the success that comes when a company invests in its people, which now drives her enthusiasm for developing leaders inside her restaurant.

She began her career with Chick-fil-A while in college, working part-time as a Team Member at a restaurant near campus. After completing her undergraduate studies at the Rosen School of Hospitality Management at the University of Central Florida, Rivera went on to join Chick-fil-A, Inc. as part of the company’s Leadership Development Program. While in her second year of the program, she was selected to become the franchise owner of a Chick-fil-A restaurant in Houston, Texas, where she has spent the past four years. Now, Rivera looks forward to continuing her career with Chick-fil-A in her hometown, providing her team with the same support and development opportunities she received from her local Operator as a Team Member.

“I can’t wait to serve my neighbors as a local business owner in the place my family and I call home,” said Rivera. “We are excited to welcome everyone into our restaurant, providing them with great food and remarkable hospitality.”
