Ingredients:

Fish Tacos

  • Small corn tortillas
  • 4-6 Tilapia Filets
  • ½ cup Flour
  • ½ cup Corn Meal
  • ¼ Cup Tony Chachere’s seasoning
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Crème de Zabocca 

  • 1 avocado (mashed)
  • ½ Cup Sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Pickled Cabbage (mix all ingredients together and set aside)

  • 1 cup shredded red cabbage
  • 2 tbsp mango rice vinegar
  • 2 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

 

How to Make It

Crème de Zabocca

Mix all ingredients together

Set aside

 

Pickled Cabbage 

Mix all ingredients together

Set aside

 

Fish Tacos

Cut tilapia filets into small cubes

Mix together flour, cornmeal, Tony Chachere’s seasoning, salt and pepper

Toss with cubes of tilapia in large Ziploc bag

Heat oil in skillet and fry tilapia cubes ( 3-4 minutes max)

Spread Crème de Zabocca on tortilla

Add tilapia cubes and top with pickled cabbage

Garnish with avocado slices

Add Gourmet Gratis Habanero Mango Chutney or hot sauce of your choice
